Why it was built this way.
Built in Astro, on purpose
A photography site is images and text with almost nothing to interact with. Astro ships static HTML and leaves the JavaScript out, which is the right trade when the photographs are the payload.
Written where the search is
The buyers are villa owners and managers in Bali. The site is in their language first, with English alongside — not the other way round.
