Why it was built this way.
A directory is the recruitment
Nobody joins a community they cannot find. Listing every existing club, including other people's, makes the site the place a new player starts.
Two audiences, kept apart
Players are asked to join; sponsors and investors are asked for something else entirely. The two calls to action never share a button.
